Founded in 2012 by Dr. Peng Liu after his Ph.D. research at Rockefeller University, Orchard Direct was born from a simple observation: premium Asian fruits were nowhere to be found in American markets despite abundant Asian supermarkets. As a former plant quarantine officer with extensive experience in the global fruit supply chain, Dr. Liu set out to bridge this gap. Today, Orchard Direct upholds the principle of "from orchard direct to consumer," delivering products that are Direct, Delicious, and Delightful to American consumers and families across the nation.
